Our Commitment to Fair Housing

Published November 5, 2026 · Lianna Danielyan, REALTOR® · Equity Union

Figures and rules in this post are as of November 6, 2026, from the sources linked below. Check the source for any later update.

Lianna Danielyan and Equity Union are committed to equal housing opportunity. Every client receives the same professional service regardless of who they are.

The laws

  • The federal Fair Housing Act prohibits housing discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), familial status, and disability.
  • California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act and related state laws add more protected characteristics. These include ancestry, marital status, source of income, genetic information, veteran or military status, gender expression, and others.

What this means on this site

  • Neighborhood pages describe geography, housing types, and links to official sources. They don’t describe who lives in an area or steer anyone toward or away from one.
  • School information comes only from official school district sources, without rankings or opinions.
  • Listings are shown in full through the IDX search, without filtering by anything other than property features a buyer chooses.

Getting help

If you believe you have experienced housing discrimination, you can contact the California Civil Rights Department or the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
